On Sunday, we went to Turkey Run State Park with Nate, Heather, and Corinne. We enjoyed two hikes through the canyons and sandstone cliffs and along Sugar Creek. The weather was beautiful and it was quite cool under all the trees and around the water.
This was Catherine’s first hike and she enjoyed her time in the Ergo. She is still a little short so she couldn’t really look sideways, but she had lots to look at above us. She took advantage of the head rest and took a nap on the second hike.
After the second hike, the others went on a canoe trip and Catherine and I rested at the camp site.
We camped for one night. It was a bit cool so we got out the snuggly pajamas and hat. Catherine loved relaxing in the tent. The rain during the night sounded just like her white noise machine at home!
Catherine is helping Daddy deflate the air mattress in the morning.
Buddies!
Peppers for dinner.
Corinne was practicing her photography skills.
